Our client is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its established legal team and support various business units across a range of corporate and commercial matter
About the role
- In this general corporate/commercial legal role, you will report to the Head of Legal and be responsible for providing advice in respect of operations and corporate activities across general commercial, transactions/M&A/JVs, disputes, regulatory approvals, procurement, supply agreements and construction matters.
- Be responsible for partnering with stakeholders to help the organisation meet its strategic objectives.
- Manage external legal counsel relationships and coordinate provision of external legal advice.
- Be an active participant of the in-house legal team contributing to legal operations management and a best-practice approach.
About you
- You will have at least 4 years’ PQE gained from a reputable law firm or similar in-house environment. Our client is open to your area of specialisation and could include, but is not limited to: general commercial, corporate/M&A, construction or projects.
- Excellent drafting and negotiating skills as well as stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated capability in working autonomously and proven ability to build effective working relationships.
- A self-starter, enthusiastic, high drive for achievement and flexible.
