Unique opportunity exists for an energetic, outcomes-focused medico-legal / health lawyer to join highly respected organisation as Legal Counsel.

A highly sought after opportunity exists for a lawyer with at least 3 to 5 years’ PQE to join our client’s legal team as Legal Counsel and play a significant role in meeting the legal demands of this complex organisation. Reporting to the Director Legal Services, and working on a daily basis with the Executive and stakeholders across all areas of the organisation, you will be responsible for supporting the hospital through the provision of high level, commercially astute, strategic legal advice and support, primarily within the portfolios of mental health (coronial and tribunal), medical indemnity and general coronial matters, to ensure that the organisation’s operations run smoothly and risk is mitigated appropriately.

Your strong technical capability is balanced by a responsive, pragmatic and outcomes-focused approach. You will have a proven track record in confidently interacting with a range of stakeholders. You are accountable, detail-minded, credible, collaborative, and capable of communicating in a clear and concise manner. You will bring energy and enthusiasm to the role.
