Fantastic opportunity for a mid to SA level corporate/commercial lawyer to join highly regarded family owned Australian business.
Established in 1976, our client the Knowles Group is a privately owned group of companies with particular interests in aged care, retirement living and property. Through its diverse business interests, the Knowles Group oversee and facilitate property developments and investments while actively seeking opportunities to grow including the rapid growth of its aged care and retirement portfolio.
Based in Hampton East, the Knowles Group are now seeking a mid to SA level commercial lawyer to join its highly collaborative legal team. Reporting to the General Counsel, the primary focus of the role is to provide commercially astute legal advice to the business, including to its aged care business Arcare. This work includes: drafting and advising on contractual arrangements; property development; construction; general commercial and operational matters; employment law; regulatory compliance; governance; procurement; and conveyancing.
Ideally the successful candidate would offer at least 4 years’ experience in commercial law and regulatory work preferably gained in a well regarded firm. This experience will involve high level contract drafting and review skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a high level of commercial acumen, and the ability to develop relationships with stakeholders is required for this role. Any experience in the aged care sector is beneficial but not essential.
