An excellent opportunity has arisen for a mid level commercial lawyer to join the University’s cohesive and supportive legal team. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will provide legal advice to the Executive, Faculties and Portfolios of the University and its wholly owned entities on areas including general commercial, contracts, corporations law and governance, trade practices and intellectual property law.
At least 4 years’ commercial law experience gained within a reputable law firm or in-house environment is essential. To be successful in this role, you must have well developed communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and effectively liaise with people at all levels. In addition, you must demonstrate the ability to provide commercial, practical solutions, a team oriented approach, and possess excellent drafting and time management skills.
