About the role
This broad BAU role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercial and procurement lawyer to join a dynamic and growing in-house team. Working across business units including regulated networks, commercial energy and infrastructure, the role will focus on contracting for the procurement of enterprise and digital/technology services.
In addition, the role will play a central part on critical infrastructure projects and assist in the roll out of cloud-based technology systems. The role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne. Hybrid working arrangements on offer.
You will be an experienced technology and commercial lawyer with expertise across goods and services procurement. You will be confident enough to work autonomously and be able to interpret and analyse complex legislation and contracts. Strong stakeholder management skills across various business units are essential in the role.
This is a permanent position reporting to the Lead Counsel – Corporate. We welcome candidates who are seeking the flexibility to work remotely for part of the week.
